Surfing in Strandhill

Learn to surf by joining us for surf lessons in beautiful Strandhill at the foot of the majestic Knocknarea mountain Co Sligo. Experience the great outdoors of the beautiful Strandhill area and get fit at the same time. But most importantly you'll have great fun and meet great people and have a safe and fun first surfing experience.

We conduct our surf lessons on Strandhill beach just 50 meters form our purpose build changing rooms at the Strandhill holiday hostel. Our ISA approved surf instructors will guide you from the changing rooms on the short walk to the beach.

At TurfnSurf Strandhill Surf School we pride ourselves on our professional approach. The instructor will be in the water with you giving sound advice and tips on improving your surfing skills. After the surf lesson join us for a hot tea/ coffee/biscuits and a chat with your new found friends from the surf lesson. The Strandhill holiday hostel has relaxing green areas around it and on the sunny days in the summer our instructors will help you talk up your Strandhill surfing exploits in the relaxed environment of the hostel / surf school. The surf lesson includes all equipment so all you need to bring is a swimsuit and a towel. During the winter months we provide boots, gloves and hoods for your comfort.
