Surf and Snow Holidays in France

In some locations around the world it is possible to surf in the morning, and head to the mountains to hit the slopes. Here at Errant Surf Holidays we offer surfing and snow holidays from December till March every year in south west France. During the week with us you will stay in one of our private beach apartments in Hossegor (20 minutes from Biarritz) we aim to have three days surfing, and four days in the mountains snowboarding and skiing in St Lary. We provide private transfers from the airport, and to and from Hossegor to St Lary which takes about two and a half hours. So it is possible to surf in the morning and be in the mountains bombing down the mountain in the afternoon!

St. Lary is one of the biggest snow stations in the Pyrennees (100km of pistes with 9 black, 14 red, 25 blue and 7 green pistes and huge amounts of off piste available). It is also the departure point for other nearby stations such as Piau Engaly and Peyragudes. It is equipped with 250 snow canons so you have guaranteed snow. The beautiful town (linked to the ski station by a cable car -open till midnight -10 min journey time) boasts lots of facilities. These include swimming pool, ice skating, cinema, Thermal Spa. The valley is connected directly to Spain 15kms away.

Accommodation Details

In Hossegor the apartments are a short walk from the beach, bars and restaurants of the local area. All apartments have fully equipped kitchens, TV, DVD and a balconey to relax on after a hard day surfing. We will have a welcome food pack waiting for you upon arrival into Hossegor to make you feel at home.

Once we had off into the mountains your accommodation in St Lary is a stunning apartment with a balcony where you'll find an amazing view over the valley and onto the mountain range. You will also find a welcome pack on arrival including local cheese, wine, pate and baguette. Both apartments sleep four people, up to six if required. The apartments are best suited to a couple, or two friends, two couples or a family.
