If it's winter waves you are after, surfing in Portugal in the winter offers those with a bit more experience some powerful less crowded waves. The weather also remains about 16º Celsius and with no crowds, many offshore days or no wind at all, it makes the Algarve a perfect winter surfing destination.

Surf Trips
When the surf is 'on' our crew will get you there as they know when and where in any conditions all along the south and west coasts. Leaving Lagos each morning, we go in search of the best waves the Algarve has to offer. We supply wetsuits and have a vast range of boards for different styles and waves.

We know how important your time away is and hence we aim to give you maximum time in the water. As well as a hassle free comfy trip to the Algarve's best surf spots we also supply a hearty pack lunch (please advise of any special dietary requirements) and with our intermediate/advanced surf coach on hand, we can help get your surfing skills up a few notches.


Winter surfing (November - March) in the Algarve sees big swells hitting our 2 coasts and hence these conditions are really suited to those with some ability. Dawnies are common and also expect to be one of a very small crew.

So come treat yourself to a surf trip with a crew happy to show you the best surfing holiday in Portugal.

Accommodation Details

Casa Offshore is located 5 mins from Lagos town centre.
Situated directly over the road is a parade of restaurants, bar, car rental and a supermarket for convenience.

The house comprises of one twin with en-suite, a double with en-suite, a shared bunk room sleeping 4 with separate bathroom and a private studio sleeping 5 with en-suite bathroom.
All rooms have bedding and towels.
Use of fully fitted kitchen.
Breakfast served each morning on terrace or in kitchen.
Spacious lounge with internet, TV, DVD, satellite and entire house has WIFI for laptops and Ipods.
Private mature garden with sun loungers and hot tub to relax or dine in.
Mountain bikes and kayak (permanently located at beach 7 mins walk) for rent.
