We at Kitekahunas are not only helping you develop new kitesurfing skills and tricks, but go far beyond. We are promoting the kitesurfing lifestyle. Spending quality time together during your kitesurfing holidays and sharing experiences in harnessing the sheer power of nature with our kites is an integral part of this lifestyle. Being part of this lifestyle will ensure that you will have the most memorable kitesurfing holidays directly on the beach - filled with sun, fun, wind and water.

You will spend your kitesurfing holidays at Kitekahunas Beach House, located directly on Sunset Beach / Cape Town.

Both participants of our courses and the instructors will live together at the Kite Beach House for the entire duration of your kitesurfing holidays. In the house we have two very beautiful apartments with separate entrance, equipped with a large bathroom, TV, DVD, WLAN and Internet and one apartment with its own private lounge. You can either choose self-catering - all rooms are equipped with a fridge and kitchen facilities - or you can opt for breakfast and dinner served from Kitekahunas kitchen. In the morning after breakfast we will start the kitesurfing courses. We will walk to the beach from the Kite Beach House or drive by van to one of the many superb kitesurfing spots that Cape Town has to offer (we have over 30 kitespots with very different conditions - flat water, small waves, high waves, cold water, warm water, ...). When we are back, there will be plenty of time to do further individual kiting, or you do a half-day trip to one of the many attractions Cape Town has to offer. In the evenings we also analyse photos and videos about you, prepare with video-learning or mental training for the lessons during the next day, or simply chill out at the Kite Beach House or in Cape Town's nightlife to make your kitesurfing holidays an unforgettable experience.

Although the wind in Cape Town almost never stops in season, there might be windless days during your kitesurfing holidays. But don't worry … you are in Africa and there is lots to do. You may even plan to stay for another week after your advanced kitesurfing course (you may want to book one of our apartments), to see Africa's great attractions… or simply visit these in the afternoons after you are "kited out".

In Cape Town you can do dolphin-watching tours or whale watching trips … Africa's wildlife and nature is abundant. If you want to turn away from the Oceans for a moment, you will want to visit a nature reserve and encounter the BIG 5 - elephants, lions, rhinos, buffalos and leopards are awaiting you, next to giraffes, zebras, bucks and hippopotamus, to name just a few.

And not to forget, Cape Town and the region have the most picturesque views in the world. Mountain hiking, paragliding or flying is popular here and absolutely unforgettable.
