With top coaching and quality equipment, a trip to Dominican Republic is a great way to spend much time in the warm, bath like water and get better. The surfing lessons take place at Playa Encuentro a short walk from the surf lodges. This sandy bay is ideal, with easy mellow breakers.
For the more advanced surfer, we recommend taking the accommodation only option, hiring a car and heading out each day with advice from our team in search of fast, good waves all around the island.
The breaks on the north shore include Encuentro, Yucca Beach, Yellow Reef Rock, El Canal and La Boca all sit on the north shore of the Dominican Republic. It is also possible to surf on the south shore of Dominican Republic, with many breaks located around San Pedro and Barahana.

This newly renovated three star hotel has everything you would expect from an all inclusive surfing holiday. Four swimming pools, 2 Jacuzzis and one baby swimming pool, three restaurants, including International, Mexican and Italian.
The hotel also has a big volleyball pitch, and two bars where you can sip on a cold beer after a hard day surfing! For the surfing families out there, the hotel offer a kid's club to keep the little ones entertained while you hit the waves!
The hotel sits right on the coastline, although it is a bit further than the surf lodge from the surfing beach.
