Arrifana Surf Packages Beginner, Intermediate, & advanced

All of our surf packages are ideal for anyone looking for a great sport adventure holiday!!!

We offer different packages to suit all levels of ability from the total beginner to the more advanced surfer!! We only take up to eight people at a time on all our surf courses and during the busier summer months have two instructors per course!! This ensures that everyone will receive great personal surf tuition all the time!!

All of our surf courses run from Monday - Friday with apx 2 sets of two hour sessions per day.

Saturday and Sunday are arrival and departure days.


All our surf packages include the following:

* One Weeks accommodation at Arrifana Surf Lodge (Sat/Sun - Sat/Sun)
* Full day of surf tuition for 5 days (Monday - Friday)
* Use of surfboard, wetsuit & leash for 1 week
(We have a full range of soft tops and epoxy boards)
* Daily transport to the beach
* Breakfast & Lunch everyday
* 5 Evening Meals
( On Fri & Sat you have the option to dine out or cook a meal using our kitchen facilities)
* All Soft Drinks
* Loads of fresh fruit, light snacks, and beverages are provided throughout the day
* Free pick up/drop off at Lagos or Aljezur on arrival and departure
* All bedding and bath towels

On the weekend guests have the option to chill on the beach, hang out in the local town of Aljezur, or keep on surfing!! All equipment is provided on the weekend so you can keep on practicising what you have learned!!

Itinerary / Highlights

A Typical Day at Arrifana Surf Lodge: Monday - Friday

9:00 - 10:00 Breakfast (provided)

10:00 - 10:30 Load up surf gear & head to beach

10:30 - 12:30 Surf School

12:30 - 13:30 Lunch Break (provided)

14:00 - 16:00 Surf School

16:30 - 18:30 Head back to lodge for shower/relaxation

18:30 - 19:00 Review of the days surfing.

19:30 - 20:00 Dinner (Fri & Sat evening meals are not included...option to eat out or use our kitchen facilities)

20:00 - ? Time to kick back and relax, and get some much needed rest!!

Beginner Surf Course
What you will learn:

* Basic board control
* Learning to ride the white water to moving onto unbroken, green waves

Intermediate Surf Course

* Paddling into the line up (duck-diving and/or turtle rolling)

Advanced Surf Course

Other Details

Accommodation Details

The Lodge is a brand new property with 3 large guest bedrooms. We have one room that can sleep 5 people, (this room is en suite) one private double room, one private twin room and there are also two large bathrooms.

There is an open plan lounge/kitchen with free WIFI Internet access, DVD player and two huge terraces with sea views where breakfast and evening meals are served (weather permitting!) Within a stone's throw of the lodge is a typical Portuguese bar, a patisserie, and a local shop selling just about everything!

Departures and Arrivals on Saturday and Sundays. Each package runs for 7 nights.
