4X4 Surf Mozambique Trip

Our 3 week adventure enables Riders to capture the once in a lifetime opportunity to explore the untapped magic of Mozambique whilst taking their surfing to the next level.

For the travelling surfer Mozambique is heaven on earth, with its array of world-class tropical surf, coupled with a unique Mozambique vibe that once experienced is never forgotten and rarely found anywhere else.

This Ticket to Ride adventure is most suited to those looking to continue travelling with Ticket to Ride after graduating from the TTRide South Africa Instructor Course, or for those already at intermediate level looking to push the boundaries of surf exploration and surf some of the world’s best and most hidden surfing locations before anyone else.

Itinerary / Highlights

Surf Tuition:-
- Coaching from South Africa's most highly regarded Surf Coaches.
- Unlimited additional coaching from Ticket to Ride UK Staff - All hold BSA Qualifications.
- Excellent Discount on a custom board from top SA shaper, Clayton. TTRide think it's important to have a board that suits you best in order for your surfing to improve.
- The TTRide tailored coaching scheme devised to help all riders of any experience; Master the Basics through to Rapid Progression, aswell as in depth beach and ocean knowledge (see surfing page for more details)

Trip Stops:-
1) Balitto (North Durban)
Landing in Durban, South Africa, Riders acclimatise to warm water, world class waves and the African lifestyle. Riders will spent there first few days in the tranquility of The Secret Spot surf camp, and short drive away from the famous Golden Mile, and endless surfing possibilities on the North Coast. We then load up the 4X4's and head North through South African safari land as we cross over into Mozambique. It is here that our search for new waves, new cultures and endless possibility truly begins.

2) Ponta D'Quro (Mozambique)

3) Tofo (Mozambique)

8 Days are spent in Tofo: (Turtle Cove) Enjoy one of the best kept surfing secrets in Africa and take time to enjoy Tofo's awesome vibe as the early signs of holiday infrastructure gives the place an exciting buzz. Tofo and surrounds have some truly excellent snorkelling due to its beautiful reefs and excellent large marine life. Whale sharks and Humpback Whales can be sighted in season. With beautiful stretches of beach, a friendly laid-back vibe Tofo offers a truly paradisical experience.

- Airport Transfer, to first destination, if required - provided this is in a designated arrivals and departures window.
- All necessary transport from Durban to Mozambique, including 4x4s up through Mozambique.
