2 Surf Lessons in Perranporth

2 lessons at the Academy will give you the benefit of not only learning the basics, but perfecting them with an instructor by your side the whole way through.

Whether you are learning from scratch or wanting to take your surfing to the next level, our instructors will inspire you with their knowledge of sea and creativity in the lessons.

The first lesson will be spent either learning or re-capping the basics and letting the instructor get a feel for your ability. The next session will be tailored to suit your level of surfing, with specific drills designed to help you get the most out of the lesson.

Itinerary / Highlights

All equipment is included in the price of your lesson. This includes full length wetsuit and boots (depending on time of year) and a soft foam surfboard.

Beginners are allocated one of our soft foam boards especially designed for beginners. These boards are soft, buoyant, stable and easy to catch waves on.

We have a variety of different length boards to cater for all shapes and sizes so we make sure we have the perfect apparatus for you to start catching your first waves.

Perranporth is a growing town situated 10 miles South of Newquay on the North coast of Cornwall. Driving down the hill into the town, you are greeted with a picturesque view overlooking the town and beach, as it sits in a river formed valley opening out to the sea.

With onsite parking, changing room facilities, and shop the Academy is perfectly positioned to make your surf lessons as comfortable and convenient as possible from the outset.

Perranporth's tranquil and serene setting makes for a chilled and friendly atmosphere in and out of the water. The large open sandy beach and the small groups we teach allow us to increase the 'one on one' coaching and leave us the freedom to style the lesson to your needs.
