The MissionToSurf Camp offers:

Internet access (by WLAN) is free as long as you are not downloading the latest movies :) so bring your notebook with you!
In the distance of approximately 15 minutes on foot there is a restaurant, a bar, a disco and a little supermarket.
If you still have enough energy to party at night or just want to go out somewhere new, you can go to Lagos, a picturesque little town with a lot of restaurants, bars and discos. The driving time is about 30 minutes.

Faro

Directions

The closest airport is Faro (approx. 75 min), to where a lot of airlines offer cheap airfares. Therefore we recommend you to choose Faro airport. If you have the choice of different flights, we recommend you to choose one that arrives in and departs from Faro in the afternoon.
Driving time from Lissabon airport to our camp is approx. 3.5 hrs by car. You can also catch the bus or train to Lagos (about 4 hours). Driving from Sevilla airport to our camp is about 3 hours by car. From Jerez de la frontera is it about 4 hours driving time.

Your options:
From Faro to Lagos by train or bus (recommended option)
In front of the entrance to the airport terminal there is a taxi stand and the EVA bus station. By bus (€ 1.50) number 14 or 16 or by taxi (€ 9) you go to the central bus station AVENIDA or to the train station. Both stations are situated in the center of Faro and there is only a distance of 200m between them.

By train (€ 6; 1.5 hrs.) or by bus (€5; 2hrs.) you get directly to Lagos. We offer free transport from and to Lagos. Please inform us about your exact arrival time.

Meeting point in Lagos: If you arrive by train, we meet at the entrance of the new train station building; if you arrive by bus, we meet at the entrance of the bus station

From Faro to our camp by car
Since car rental is very cheap in Portugal (about € 120/ week) we recommend you to rent a car if you want to be more flexible and want to see more of the country. We can also organise a rental car that you get at the airport.

The distance from Faro to Arrifana is about 110 km. From Faro you follow the highway A22 in the direction of Lisboa/Portimao(to its end). Afterwards you continue on the public road to Aljezur (about 20min). Before Aljezur you arrive at a junction where you go left in direction of Vale da Telha (uphill). On the top you go left again. You follow the road through Vales. At the following “junction” you stay right.You pass by the Vale da Telha Hotel and get to a big roundabout. From here you stick to the map.

From Lisbon to our camp by car
You drive from Lisbon airport south to the A2 Sul highway that ends in the A22 highway and continue driving towards Lagos. From Lagos to our camp: see above.
The toll fees from Lisbon to the camp are € 20.

From Faro to the camp by taxi
Costs: about €80,-.
