Silver Wings, Inc., established in 1980, is a comprehensive hang gliding business providing sales, instruction, and service of hang gliding equipment in the Northern Virginia, DC, and Maryland areas.

Silver Wings is owned and operated by John Middleton, who is an advanced certified instructor and has been an active hang gliding pilot since 1975.

Our primary focus is beginning solo foot launch hang gliding instruction.

We do not offer tandem flights. Silver Wings, located in Arlington, Virginia, is a dealer for most major hang gliding manufacturers and stocks new and used equipment.
