Surfing in Agadir (Morocco) with Rapture Camps

If you want to warm up your winter, join our surf camp. Everybody who wants to get away from it all or simply wants to have a perfect surf trip and party with friends finds the right place at Rapture Surf Camp Morocco.

Surfing around Agadir
From Banana Point for beginners to Boilers for the pro´s. Our guides will coach you if needed and will take you to all the surf spots. The swell is constant throughout the winter. The water temperature ist around 18 C - we suggest a steamer (3/2 or 4/3). If you do not have a surfboard or a wetsuit we can provide you for a little lending fee.

Packing Slip for Advanced Travellers
Along your personal stuff bring with your sleeping bag and towels. We do provide some bedding. Bring also warmer clothing for the colder evenings and nights.

Dirham, Euro and Credit Card
The Moroccan currency is the Dirham. 10 Dirham is about 1 Euro. Normally you only get Dirhams in Morocco. Therefore you should bring cash in Euro, in other major currencies, a Maestro-(EC)- or credit card. You can change cash at exchange offices at the airport or at banks in Agadir. The airport and most of the banks provide ATM´s. The cheapest way is to change cash.

Entry to Morocco
For entering Morocco your passport has to be valid at least 6 months. Also you have to fill in a landing card that you will get on your flight or at least right in front of the passport control. On the card you have to fill in your personal data and your destination in Morocco. In the column "Hotel" you have to fill in "Surf Camp Tamraght". At the passport control you will get a 90 day visa.

Transfer from and to the Airport
We provide transfer with our camp van from and to the airport for 15 Euro per person and direction.

   Itinerary & Highlights

  Imessouane
There are 2 spots to be surfed here. One is a beach break which can have good lefts and rights - all depending on the banks. The other one is the long right hand point break off the pier of the fishing village. On a good day you can have long 500 to 600 meter rides. Sand bottom works only on the low tide. This is an hour drive from the camp.

Tamri
Big Beach break with many peaks, this place always has waves, even on the smallest day you will find waves here, everyone goes here when the swell is small average wave, but good for beginners... 35mins drive from the camp.

Roaches
Sucky heavy right hander, great barrels to be had here, low tide break, this place is more of a secret spot, most people drive past it.

Mysteries
Flat rock bottom peak left and right can get good some days, uncrowded most of the time.

Boilers
Fast hollow right hander short but fun, some days you can get long rides if the swell direction is right. Rock bottom hard to get in and out, mainly for the more experienced surfers, 25mins drive from the camp.

Killer Point
Long right hand point on an epic day you can surf all the way down the point without it closing out, but most days its peaks all over the point, the left off killers is short but fun, works on the low tide, fun wave 10min drive from the camp.

Mysteries
Has two peaks one is short with a left and a right off it into the beach of killers, the other has a longer right which can be fun, usually crowded with people from tagazoute as its within walking distance, but fat this wave.

Anka Point
Long epic right hand point with some good days to the left of the point, but the right you take off and drop straight into the barrel behind the rocks, and then race down the line to a cutback section then it barrels again, awesome wave, on a small day everyone can surf it, but when its solid 6 to 8 ft its a heavy break, world class, holds up to 4 metres best surfed on the low tide, only 7 mins drive from the camp.

Hash Point
Beginners wave slow fat but a fun ride on a mal.... right in the centre of town.

Panoramas
Same as hash point slow and a beginners wave good spot to surf when the surfs big.

Home beach
Peaky left and right hand beach break, fun long beach break many peak all over the beach.

Devils rock
Sucky fun right good barrels, uncrowded.

Banana Point
Good wave for beginners, right hand point break sand bottom.

11th and 12th's
These spots break similar off a rock about 100 meters off the beach, can be a lot of fun if theres sand around the rock.
