We are the only Surf Lodge around of its kind offering an all inclusive surfing package at a super low rate!!! No more cramming surfers into a tiny living space, we only ever accommodate a maximum of eight people at one time. This means that you will never be surfing with more than seven others!! You will get one on one surf tuition... guaranteed!!
Arrifana Surf Lodge offers Algarve holidays, perfect for all year round surf holidays for the beginner surfer and experienced surfer alike!! Located only 100km from faro and 3 km from Arrifana beach we are centrally located to within a short ride to all of the best surfing beaches in the Algarve, including: Monte Clerigo, Amoreira, and of course, Arrifana Beach. We are just a short drive to the historical town of Aljezur, with its many great local restaurants, wonderful fresh food markets and historic castle.
Surf Lessons will be given at several different beaches within 5-10 minutes of the lodge. Depending on where the best surfing conditions are is where we will head for the day. Typical beaches that we use include Arrifana, Monte Clerigo, Amoreira, and Praia De Canal. Our goal is to get everyone up and riding!! For surfers with slightly more experience, instructors will try to get you catching the ultimate waves...the green waves and learning about wave selection. Students are also introduced to information about how tides, swells, and wind direction effects the waves and how to get wave predictions.
Our Food: All of our meals are cooked fresh daily using fresh local ingredients. We always offer a selection of 14 different sandwich fillings to take to the beach with plenty of fresh fruit & water to keep you hydrated. In the evenings you can expect to have a least 3 BBQ's per week depending on the weather and there are plenty of themed nights where we offer Mexican & Italian cuisine. We know how hungry surfers can get after a full day of sun & surf!! We love our food here at Arrifana Surf Lodge & hope you will too!!!!
