This price is for 12 day tour and self drive with your own surf kit.
The 12 Day Tour is essentially an extension of our 5 day surf tour. We've had so many people do back to back tours and commented they would like to stay longer! Now you can save money stay longer and hone your surfing skills.
How does it work?
You join our normal 5 day tour departing Monday and instead of coming back on Friday you have 2 free days (Saturday and Sunday) at Ahipara Surf Lodge. You will then meet up with another 5 day tour on Monday and return the following Friday. On Saturday and Sunday you can surf in front of the lodge or take a day or two from surfing and enjoy the comforts of home. Food is provided and you are free to cook up

Most of our customers are beginners but many experienced surfers take our trips because we find the best waves to suit all abilities. For the new surfer having good surfers on board is a bonus, by hanging with them it will greatly improve your surfing. The drawback is your vocabulary will change and words like pits, gnarly, point break, going off! It is all part of the experience so not to worry. Our tour heads north for the simple reasons of the sub tropical water and climate, the remote and unspoiled beaches, and the consistency of the surf due to the proximity of the 3 coasts (North, East and West).
Why would you come with us?
We have our own exclusive lodge (Ahipara Surf Lodge) which is located right on the beach in Ahipara. In front of the lodge is a very good consistent beach break, which offers great learning and longboarding waves.

Our (International Surf Association) surf coaches have extensive local knowledge which allows them to find quality waves and give you a surfing adventure that you will never forget.
We take small groups (10:1 Ratio) to ensure you get the attention you need.
